New arrival!

Welcome, Chester!

sweet little boy
spooked by the camera flash!
snug bug

Foster baby #26

We have a new kittaaaaay! Little Chester is just about three months old and has been at the ASPCA recovering from surgery. While he is all better now, he is super skinny, so mommy will have to plump him up during his stay!

Last night he ran around like a mad man - chasing after any toy he could get his paws on. After a few hours, he got very tired and took a nappy with mommy on her chest. Eeeeek, a snug bug!

Well, it's that time I always dread...the day I must return my little ones to the ASPCA. It's been a great month with these guys and I'll miss them dearly, but it's time for them to find their forever home.

They will be adopted very quickly, so I won't worry one bit :)

BABIESSSSH!

Oh man, these two little things are just about the best. All they want to do is play and snug mommy. While Lion was shy at first, he and Saydee are now bff's and constantly tackle one another. It's so great that Saydee has her brother to play with - I think she was lonely without a playmate.

I had to take Saydee to the vet on Tuesday because she came down with the sniffles, but the vet (yes, the hot one) assured me that she was okay. He gave us some meds and she's already a lot better - what a relief!

At night they both like to sleep with me, which is so great because I haven't had kittens who snug in a long time! I think the last cuddler was Little Foot - oh, LF...I bet she is so big now, eeeek! Anyway, Lion likes to sleep on some part of my body, while Saydee prefers to snuggle up against my body. I'm pretty sure I sleep with a smile on my face all night.

I woke up this morning to Lion sitting on the bed staring at me from about a foot away...he was patiently awaiting his breakfast :)

I cannot wait to spend the entire weekend with these bundles of joy!

New addition

put yo hands up, dey playin my song
SIMBA!
Saydee-kins
Bath time

What a week it has been!

Sadly, Lucy had to go back to the ASPCA because she was having tummy issues and they wanted to keep her away from Saydee. In a few days Lucy should be all better and ready to be adopted, so that made me feel better.

Just when I thought it would be only Saydee in the house, I learn that her brother, Lion, became ill right after I brought Saydee home and he lost so much weight that now he needs fostering! So now the two siblings are reunited and I have two of the sweetest and cutest babiesssh ever!

Saydee definitely has ADHD and is constantly running around the apartment while Lion is way more chill and just does his own thing. The other night he slept right on my neck while Saydee laid on my stomach - it was pure bliss.

I'm glad Saydee has a playmate, although right now the playing consists of Saydee jumping on Lion. I'm sure Lion is just getting adjusted to the greatest home on earth ;)

New Arrivals!

so many new things!
so tired from pwaying
new toys!

Fosters #23 & 24
Mama Lucy and baby Saydee

Oh.my.guuuudness! It's great to have babiessssh again!

Please help me welcome Lucy and her little girl, Saydee. When Saydee was three weeks old, she became severely ill with a URI and was admitted to the hospital for ten days. While she is now all better, she is very small for her age and needs some major TLC to get her to 2lbs.

What's that? A challenge? I ACCEPT!

Saydee had never been in an open space before, so when I brought her home she went nuts. She ran every which way, climbed anything she could, crawled under anywhere she could fit and just had the best time. She exhausted herself and is now sound asleep.

Lucy is very sweet - she reminds me of Coco :) She's asleep right here next to me on the couch.

More later!

Now & Then...

Cora

My little babiesssh are back at the ASPCA...very sad. I know they are in good hands and will find their forever homes very soon. I will admit that I cried when giving them back - two months is a long time, especially since they came to me when they were so small.

The apartment is very quiet (and clean)! My mind continues to play tricks on me and I think they are still here. I keep talking out loud and calling them...aye, I really need to get a life!

While I miss having little ones running around, I'm taking a little break before getting new kittehs. Check back in a week or so :)

Oh, I miss my little babiesssh.

BABIESSSH!

Man oh man, they are the best.

Coco is now back at the ASPCA, so I am a full-time mom, eeeeeeeek. The kittehs are doing very well though and while I'm sure they miss their real mommy, I'm a great replacement :)

They are HUGE, well, just about two pounds now, which means they will be going back to the ASPCA on Saturday, sniff, sniff. Although, I'm so glad that I was able to watch these little babies grow-up.

We had a giant sleepover in my bed the other night, which made me very happy, so I will miss their company when they leave. They were so great to have around during those late nights when I was working on my thesis. There is no better company than a wittle tiny kitten.

If you or someone you know is interested in one of these babiesh, let me know!
